A further victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal straight passage to the knockout stages, especially after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Moment
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the traveling side.
